Hello and welcome to my blog, Elaine’s Roves n’ Troves
My blog primarily focuses on interiors with a mix of lifestyle and my new journey of motherhood and my beautiful daughter Mollie.
Let me start by introducing myself, my name is Elaine Donaghy McCrory and I am 41 years old. I became a first time mum just over a year ago to our most beautiful and precious girl, Mollie. Mollie was born with Down Syndrome so I’ve started to use my blog to raise awareness on this condition and help change the dated and negative perceptions that unfortunately still exist in today’s society.
We have a self-build that we project managed ourselves. We started the build in 2011 and moved into our new home in 2016. Through this journey I got a new found passion for interior design and décor and I love styling and updating corners of my home, all of which I love to share.
I am a global marketing professional and have the most amazing job that allows me to travel around the world and I’ve been fortunate to visit so many amazing countries. However that did change quite a bit with Covid and a new born, but lately travels have started to resume somewhat. So as part of my blog I love to share my travels, any finds and must see and visit.
My blog aims to share these discoveries, treasures and experiences with you, which I hope you enjoy and I invite you to join me on my journey.
