Hey Lookers
I wanted to reflect on my week gone by as it was one of those week that was manic but good. There was so much happening last week in my own work as well as with the blog. I was speaking at and attending some events as part of Omagh Enterprise Week, which was so good. A week filled with stress and lots of running around but lots of fun mixed in between.
Digital Week – Blog Talk
The week started with the digital event I was speaking at. I was so delighted to be invited along to speak as part of Omagh Digital Enterprise week. This was my first time to speak on my blog, which I must say I thoroughly enjoyed. I loved the opportunity to share my experience and journey with businesses and look forwrad to more events like this.

My presentation on screen
My new purchases from Erdem by H&M arrived just in time for the evening presentation, so I couldn’t resist but to wear one of my tops which I teamed with my red trousers. (See more on my red trousers here)

Influencer Marketing
Later in the week I attended another event as part of Enterprise Week, on ‘Influencer Marketing’. This was led by Noimh Taylor, from Digital Twenty Four, who shared lots of insights around influencers and how we (if I can call myself an influencer) can work with businesses and how businesses should interact and engage more with influencers. The world of advertising and promotion is constantly changing and using ‘influencers’ is an excellent means to help promote your business. What is important is to find someone who fits your brand, who can connect with your target audience and work with them to promote your business. It is a much more authentic and engaging way to connect with your audience. There was also a number of other bloggers on the panel answering questions and also giving an insight into their world of blogging to include, Digg Childrenswear, Blissolisso Blog and The Style Studio, so overall a fab and insightful event.

Chartered Marketer
Another highlight of the week was officially getting Chartered Marketer status, after passing all my assessments, my certificate arrived in the post last week. The status is awarded to marketers achieving the highest level in their profession. It demonstrates commitment to keeping up-to-date and is awarded on a combination of experience and qualifications, so I’m pretty pleased about that.
Party Time
Then on Saturday it was my little nephews Christening, so that was a lovely end to the week with some celebrating and time with family. I picked up this new dress for the occasion and it was so so comfy to wear. I loved the fact it had long sleeves, was longer in length and a higher neck all meant less tanning for me.
I used this opportunity to wear my new earrings by Erdem H&M, which I really love. I also got my makeup done by Beauty At Annes, which is always a nice treat.
