A month ago today I spent some time in London on some work travels. I was attending the annual Festival of Marketing which is an amazing event for marketers or anyone in the sphere of social and digital marketing. I had the opportunity to listen to some amazing speakers, Tom Daley, Jo Malone, Hayley Southwood, Deliciously Ella, Stephen Fry, Kathy Hill to name a few, getting lots of inspiration and ideas for my role as Global Marketing Manager. I have shared some pics below.
So enough on that for now, what I want to share with you today is more on the hotel where I stayed, Nobu Shoreditch Hotel. It only opened back in July and I was blown away with it. Keep scrolling to see more on this amazing hotel.

Nobu Shoreditch….A place to go and be seen

The striking entrance to the Nobu Hotel
So of course for any trip I needed somewhere to stay and I normally have a look at Hotel Tonight app as they typically offer good prices for nice hotels. The Nobu Hotel Shoreditch showed as an option, which looked really nice but more importantly it was in a good location to reaching the festival each day, so I opted for this. Having done really no more research on this hotel before my visit, I was a bit oblivious to what awaited me. What a pleasant surprise when I arrived, the facade is something very different, modern and contemporary and the interior décor is simply wow with a very instinctive and informal feel to it. Nestled in Shoreditch the city is also easily accessible by the tube.

The 148 guestrooms and suites are thoughtfully designed and the décor blends the understated luxury of Nobu with the raw creative energy of East London.

Bold prints on the walls that doubled up as rolling window covers

Touches of gold throughout, the handles of the wardrobe, which are wooden style painted black

Gold cabinet opens up to a wide screen TV and a mirror

Cute little teapot for in room tea and coffee

The hotel also also boosts London’s newest Nobu Restaurant, where they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. As you can see it is quite something..it speaks for itself.

Nobu Restaurant …birds eye view
So there you have it, a snapshot of this fabulous hotel which I highly recommend, its definitely worth a visit.
oh before I go….Just around the corner from the hotel I spotted this incredible piece of art and of course took the opportunity to get a photo…glad I did, as by the time I was leaving it had a fresh piece of art.

Don’t be afraid to spread your wings
Have a great weekend
