Whooo it’s Friday… it’s been such a busy and fun packed week, below is a snapshot of what I got up to, were I visited and what I wore (links to shop)….
Last weekend kicked off with a long overdue ‘date nite’ with my other half, kevin, we haven’t had a chance to get a night out together, as there has been so many other things over on over the last few months. Sometimes it’s good to just make a rule that you do it once a month, then it becomes a good habit to take some quality time together, so that’s my plan from here on in.
We went for a bite to eat and a few pre theatre drinks in Rue, Main Street, Omagh before heading to ‘Johnny Cash and June Carter’ tribute band in Strule Arts Centre Omagh. The act are brother and sister, which makes it even more unique and are both super talented. I wore one of my new tops, from New Look, that my sister actually picked up for me at the weekend and teamed it with these jeans (River Island) which I am getting sooo much wear out of.

Then of course e it was Father’s day, so I treated my pappa to lovely morning tea and then a BBQ steak later that evening.
Then on Wednesday I got a lovely surprise invite from blogger Cliodhna Fullen to accompany her to the Kiss Products KISSsummerparty in the amazing Rooftop bar at the Merchant Hotel, Belfast, which was a fabulous press event to showcase their New range of nails and lashes. Such a fab event with lots of cocktails, goodie bags, pampering in a stunning backdrop of sunshine and great company. I wore another new top (my sister also got me at the weekend) again in New Look and yes, the same jeans were back on, with my white shoes this time. I also have the red and white version in this, see my full post on it here.

Sugaring + Refining my Makeup techniques
Then last night I was invited along as a guest to Pure Perfection, which is an award winning beauty salon in Fintona, Omagh (Co.Tyrone, N.Irlend). They invited me to try out ‘sugaring’, a form of hair removal, which until now I have never tried before or heard off before, I have always got waxing in the past. I was really impressed with it and can say it was relatively pain-free. I will continue to do a full course of the treatment over the next few months so I can see the full benefits. I will be writing a full blog on my experience and benefits of ‘sugaring’ in the coming weeks, to also include updates during the full course treatment, so keep a watch for that.
Then to finish the evening Sinead, the owner of Pure Perfection, hosted her own MakeUp Masterclass, she really broke the techniques of application down so well and made it easier to understand the ‘how to’ of applying, covering everything from brows, contouring, lashes and everything in between. I picked up some many tips and now all I need to do is practise again and again. I am going to share my top takeaways in a separate post in the coming weeks, so keep an eye on that as well so you too can try them for yourself.
So I am ready for another weekend and my cousin is vising tomorrow, and I must say I’m really looking forward to a chilled out evening in front of the TV and no doubt with a chilled drink In hand.
Just to give a little something back to my followers I have teamed up with Pure Perfection who have kindly sponsored a ‘Diamond-Tome Facial’
