Hope you all had a lovely bank holiday weekend, I know I had to work, but I’m ok with that 🙂
Over the weekend I picked up this new top in New Look, which I have to say I really love, and it was an absolute bargain at £7.99. There is something about this distinctive checked fabric, it feels fresh and stylish to wear. The frill and off the shoulder detail also tick some more Spring style trends, so I feel bang on trend. I paired it with my light denims from Stradavaris and some white shoes as I was heading out for dinner. (Shopping links below)
I am just loving everything Gingham at the moment, and little by little I am adding some new pieces to my wardrobe, the problem is where do you stop, as there are so many nice pieces to choose from ….tops, dresses, skirts, trousers, shoes and so much more.
It really is one of the key prints of the season and was everywhere throughout fashion month. I find it a nice alternative to floras, and there are some pieces that even incorporate the floral trend. I love the solid colour of check against white, with so many check colours to choose from; black red, blue, pink, yellow, the list goes on.
